"Alyssum" is a recent project created by a group of film students, showcasing their unique take on feminist body horror. This thought-provoking and visually captivating work challenges traditional narratives and isn't afraid to face avoided subjects.
I wrote and directed Alyssum - I wanted to explore the body horror genre and merge it with my feminist nature. Alyssum is an arthouse, ambiguous film that uses its message as social commentary about beauty standards, hookup culture and mental health.
